Inmates in the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center can receive written letters from their loved ones back home. These letters cannot contain stamps, checks, cash, or pictures. You are only permitted to send them a handwritten letter.

Sending Money

Please note that the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center does not accept money orders.

The El Paso County Criminal Justice Center now uses inmatedeposits.com. You will need to create an account to send money to an inmate.

With this service you will be permitted to make deposits on a daily, weekly, or even a monthly basis. Each deposit can be up to $300.

To make a successful deposit into an inmate’s account, you will be required to know the inmate’s identification number.

Phone calls

Inmates cannot take phone calls, but inmates can make phone calls. All outgoing phone calls from the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center will be collect calls.

You will need to have a landline phone to receive these phone calls. You will also need to know that these phone calls will be at your expense. Inmates will not be paying for this service and neither is the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center.

Visitation

The El Paso County Criminal Justice Center permits inmates to have 3 visits per week. Visiting hours at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center goes as follows:

In order to visit an inmate, you will need to first and foremost bring your driver’s license to be allowed into the visitation area. All visits with inmates in the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center are no-contact visits. You will be sitting behind a glass partition when visiting the inmate. There will be no touching involved or allowed.
