Sending Money
The FCI Miami has given inmate three methods of how they can fund an inmate's account.
First and foremost, the fastest way to put money on an inmate’s books is to use either MoneyGram or Western Union. To use either of these services, you should note that it will have a fee.
The other way you can put money on an inmate’s books is to send a money order. The money order will need to have the inmate’s name and their BOP number.
Phone calls
Inmates in the FCI Miami will have the ability to use the telephones that are in the common areas throughout the day.
These phones will be in use if the FCI Miami is not under any sort of lockdown.
Inmates will have to have money in their phone account to use these telephones. Inmates will only be permitted to talk on the phone for 300 minutes each month as well.
