Searching for an offender can sometimes be one of the hardest tasks, you will ever have to complete. Since the Coastal Transitional Center is a state-operated facility, the task is not so daunting.

The Georgia Department of Corrections will be the agency that operates the Coastal Transitional Center, which means, they will be the agency that is responsible for having a database of all inmates they have in custody.

The Coastal Transitional Center has set hours for the offenders to utilize the phone. During these hours, offenders will be permitted to make phone calls home.

All calls inmates will make will be recorded and monitored by prison staff.

Visiting at the Coastal Transitional Center will be held between the hours of 12 pm to 4 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

It is recommended to arrive at the Coastal Transitional Center about a half-hour early to be ready when visitation opens.
