Inmates will be permitted to use the phone. Typically, phones will be available during the daytime hours if the Effingham County Prison is not under a lockdown.

Calls will only be permitted to be 15-minutes in length.

Visitation

Visitors are more than welcome to visit an inmate at the Effingham County Prison during the select days.

However, before you can visit an inmate, you will be required to fill out the Georgia Inmate Visitors Application. This application will need to be filled out, submitted, and approved, prior to you being permitted to come in and visit with an inmate.

Visits will be held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between the hours of 9:30 am to 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
