FDC Honolulu is short for Honolulu Federal Correctional Institution. The FDC Honolulu is classified as a low-security facility situated in Bastrop, Hawaii.
FDC Honolulu opened its doors officially in 1979. The prison is composed of the main unit alongside a minimum-security satellite prison camp.
As of late, the main campus at the FDC Honolulu can comfortably house over 408 offenders. In the minimum-security satellite prison camp can comfortably house over 180 offenders.
All inmates in the FDC Honolulu will either be enrolled in educational programs or have a work assignment.

You can find the database on the Federal Bureau of Prisons website as this is the agency that maintains the database for all federal prisons.

Mail can be sent to the FDC Honolulu.
There are two different kinds of mail when it comes to the FDC Honolulu.
There is general mail, which is the type of mail that you will be sending. This mail will be checked by the prison staff and then given to the inmate.
The other type of mail is special mail, which is the type of mail that will come from the inmate’s legal counsel. This mail will also be checked by the prison staff, but in front of the inmate.
Sending Money
You can deposit funds into the inmates account by using Western Union, MoneyGram, or sending a money order.
Phone calls
Inmates will be allotted a talk time of 300 minutes every month. However, during the holiday months of November and December, inmates will be granted an extra 100 minutes a month.
All calls are monitored. All calls are capped at 15-minutes, so everyone has time to call their loved ones.
Visitation
Visiting hours at the main campus and the prison camp will differ.
But one thing that stays the same is that you will need to fill out the visitor application prior to being permitted on the premises.
