Inmates cannot take phone calls, but inmates can make phone calls. All outgoing phone calls from the Cook County Jail - D.O.C. Cermak Hospital will be collect calls.

In order to visit an inmate, you will need to first and foremost bring your driver’s license to be allowed into the visitation area. All visits with inmates in the Cook County Jail - D.O.C. Cermak Hospital are no-contact visits. You will be sitting behind a glass partition when visiting the inmate. There will be no touching involved or allowed.
