The FCI Oakdale II is a medium-security federal institution.

Along with the main campus at the FCI Oakdale II there is a minimum-security prison camp.

The FCI Oakdale II opened its doors back in 2007. You may not know that FCI Oakdale II was one of three facilities that are in the Allen.

Overall the FCI Oakdale II is home to a total of 1014 inmates. The main campus typically will house around 877 inmates while the prison camp will house around 109 inmates.

Searching for an inmate in the FCI Oakdale II is easier than ever now. You know longer must spend the day on the phone trying to get through and talk to a correctional officer.

Now you can go to the Federal Bureau of Prisons website and just search for the inmate by their BOP number or their name.

Sending mail is going to be an easy task. It is not as daunting as it may seem. Nearly everything is okay to send, if it follows the guidelines. The guidelines are simple. If you wouldn’t want someone else to open and read the mail because of its contents, then it probably should not be sent.

Please understand that you can send care packages, but you will need to have prior approval from the FCI Oakdale II.

The main campus and the minimum-security camp have the same visitation schedule.

The current visitation schedule is on Saturdays and Sunday between the hours of 8 am to 3 pm.
