USP Pollock is short for Pollock Federal Correctional Institution. The USP Pollock is known as a medium-security facility in Pollock, Louisiana.

If you want to send books, newspapers, and magazines, you will need to have them shipped to the USP Pollock from the publisher and/or bookstore.

Keep in mind that all books are required to be new and paperback as well.

Sending Money

The USP Pollock has given inmate three methods of how they can fund an inmate's account.

First and foremost, the fastest way to put money on an inmate’s books is to use either MoneyGram or Western Union. To use either of these services, you should note that it will have a fee.

The other way you can put money on an inmate’s books is to send a money order. The money order will need to have the inmate’s name and their BOP number.

Phone calls

Inmates in the USP Pollock will have the ability to use the telephones that are in the common areas throughout the day.

These phones will be in use if the USP Pollock is not under any sort of lockdown.

Inmates will have to have money in their phone account to use these telephones. Inmates will only be permitted to talk on the phone for 300 minutes each month as well.

The USP Pollock and the satellite prison camp has the same visitation hours. The visitation schedule is as follows:

You will need to have completed your visitor application and have it approved prior to being allowed to visit in the USP Pollock. You will also need your ID card.
