How to Find Someone in Kennebec County Jail
Locating an inmate in the Kennebec County Jail is no easy feat. The agency responsible for keeping records of all inmates in the Kennebec County Jail is the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Department.

Inmates in the Kennebec County Jail will need funds to purchase items from the commissary. In order to deliver funds to an inmate, you can bring a money order directly down to the Kennebec County Jail lobby.

The staff member will collect the money order from you and the funds will be deposited into the inmates account within one to three days.

Visitation at the Kennebec County Jail is held Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 am to 6 pm.

To visit an inmate, you will need to present your government-issued identification card such as a driver’s license. Juveniles under the age of 16 will always be required to be accompanied by an adult. They will not be permitted to visit an inmate alone.
