How to Find Someone in Baltimore Juvenile Justice Center
Unlike other state facilities, the Baltimore Juvenile Justice Center currently does not have their database full of inmates open to the public.
What does this mean for you trying to search for an offender?
Whether you are trying to locate or find more information about an inmate, you will need to contact the Baltimore Juvenile Justice Center directly at the number provided. When contacting the Baltimore Juvenile Justice Center, you will need to at least have the inmates full name and their date of birth handy.
Sending a Mail/Care Package
Nationwide Inmate Records Online Check
Mail is a great way to keep in contact with an offender while they are in the Baltimore Juvenile Justice Center.
The offender is permitted to send and receive letters. All letters will be checked for contraband. If you do not follow the strict guidelines that the Baltimore Juvenile Justice Center sets forth, your mail will not make it to the inmate it is addressed to and you may lose mail rights.
Sending Money
Just like nearly every other state facility, the Baltimore Juvenile Justice Center uses JPay.
JPay is a great service that allows the inmate to receive their money immediately when a family or friend deposits it in their account. This will allow the inmate to use their money right when they get it rather than having to wait days before it is touchable.
Phone calls
You will not be permitted to contact an offender by via telephone nor will you be permitted to leave them a message. You will be required to wait for an offender to contact you via telephone.
Inmates will be permitted to use the phone. Typically, phones will be available during the daytime hours if the Baltimore Juvenile Justice Center is not under a lockdown.
Calls will only be permitted to be 15-minutes in length.
Visitation
Visitors are more than welcome to visit an inmate at the Baltimore Juvenile Justice Center during the select days.
However, before you can visit an inmate, you will be required to fill out the Maryland Inmate Visitors Application. This application will need to be filled out, submitted, and approved, prior to you being permitted to come in and visit with an inmate.
Visits will be held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between the hours of 9:30 am to 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
