Locating an inmate in the Mitchell County Jail is no easy feat. The agency responsible for keeping records of all inmates in the Mitchell County Jail is the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Department.

However, unlike other sheriff’s departments, the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Department does not have their inmate roster available on the web.

The staff member will collect the money order from you and the funds will be deposited into the inmates account within one to three days.

Visitation at the Mitchell County Jail is held Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 am to 6 pm.
