How to Find Someone in Tripp County Jail
Trying to find information about the inmate in the Tripp County Jail can be quite the daunting task.
The Tripp County Jail keeps records on all inmates in their facility. These records will have the charges, bail information, along with the court transactions on the inmate.
However, the Tripp County Jail does not keep these records online or easily accessible to the public.

Inmates in the Tripp County Jail can receive written letters from their loved ones back home. These letters cannot contain stamps, checks, cash, or pictures. You are only permitted to send them a handwritten letter.

Sending Money
Please note that the Tripp County Jail does not accept money orders.

With this service you will be permitted to make deposits on a daily, weekly, or even a monthly basis. Each deposit can be up to $300.
To make a successful deposit into an inmate’s account, you will be required to know the inmate’s identification number.

Phone calls
Inmates cannot take phone calls, but inmates can make phone calls. All outgoing phone calls from the Tripp County Jail will be collect calls.
You will need to have a landline phone to receive these phone calls. You will also need to know that these phone calls will be at your expense. Inmates will not be paying for this service and neither is the Tripp County Jail.
Visitation
The Tripp County Jail permits inmates to have 3 visits per week. Visiting hours at the Tripp County Jail goes as follows:
In order to visit an inmate, you will need to first and foremost bring your driver’s license to be allowed into the visitation area. All visits with inmates in the Tripp County Jail are no-contact visits. You will be sitting behind a glass partition when visiting the inmate. There will be no touching involved or allowed.
