Trying to find information about the inmate in the Leon County Jail can be quite the daunting task.

Inmates in the Leon County Jail can receive written letters from their loved ones back home. These letters cannot contain stamps, checks, cash, or pictures. You are only permitted to send them a handwritten letter.

Sending Money

Please note that the Leon County Jail does not accept money orders.

The Leon County Jail now uses inmatedeposits.com. You will need to create an account to send money to an inmate.

With this service you will be permitted to make deposits on a daily, weekly, or even a monthly basis. Each deposit can be up to $300.

To make a successful deposit into an inmate’s account, you will be required to know the inmate’s identification number.

Phone calls

Inmates cannot take phone calls, but inmates can make phone calls. All outgoing phone calls from the Leon County Jail will be collect calls.

You will need to have a landline phone to receive these phone calls. You will also need to know that these phone calls will be at your expense. Inmates will not be paying for this service and neither is the Leon County Jail.

In order to visit an inmate, you will need to first and foremost bring your driver’s license to be allowed into the visitation area.
