All outgoing and incoming mail will be thoroughly checked by a staff member at the St. Croix County Jail prior to being hand-delivered to the inmate it is addressed to.

Sending Money

Inmates in the St. Croix County Jail will need funds to purchase items from the commissary. The commissary is where inmates can purchase items such as the following:

  • Sneakers

  • Snacks

  • Entertainment Items

You can come down to the St. Croix County Jail and hand in a money order with the inmate’s full name, date of birth, and their identification number on it. The staff member can then deposit the funds into the inmate’s account, so the inmate can purchase what he or she needs from the commissary.

Phone calls

At the St. Croix County Jail, you will have the chance to have the inmate call you. The inmate will only have the option to call collect. If you only have a cell phone, you will not be able to get these phone calls from the inmate.

Calling collect does not allow you to call cell phones. Inmates will, however, be allowed to get through people who still have a landline phone.

You, the receiver of the phone call will be responsible for any and all charges that are associated with the collect call. The St. Croix County Jail takes no responsibility in any charges that may occur.
